My Story is not all that glamorous.
Actually, it's pretty tragic. I realized at the age of 19 that I wanted to help people in a huge way. Not just run of the mill, helping a few people here and there, working in a small place with a small impact. I wanted to make a freaking difference! I wanted to make a major mark, a major impact. I wanted to inspire the hell out of people.
That is a goal that I am continuing to work on every single day. So where did that desire come from exactly? It came from hardship. Not an average "I lost my job and have no money" hardship though, a hardship that has had lasting and serious impacts on my entire family; a homicide. Yes, I said that right, a damn murder. A real life drama that had the Investigation Discovery channel in my home town. My mother was at the center of it all. Thankfully, she survived but unfortunately, four others lost their lives that day. One victim being my stepfather who helped to raise me in my younger very transformative years. To categorize this as just a hardship is an insult to what it really was. It was a tragedy. I was a teenager dealing with one of the worst tragedies humanity produces. I took this tragedy and instead of wallowing in the misery surrounding me, I decided right then and there that I had to help as many people as I could in a deep and meaningful way.
So, my "WHY", although heavy, is somewhat simple. I knew I had a purpose in this universe that was bigger than I could dream. And, oh boy, did I dream. For far too long, that's where it stopped. I had all of these grand day dreams and plans but never took the action to achieve them.
This is where my story probably sounds familiar to most of yours. FEAR. PARALYZING FEAR. I was stuck. Stuck working in jobs that I did not love. Stuck working with people that I did not love. Stuck doing tasks that I did not love.
How did I change the narrative I was living? I took action. I took massive action that helped to propel my life, my business, and my emotional, physical, and financial health. I started a business and grew it to six figures in a matter of months. The moment I committed and decided that I wanted more, I made that happen. I went all in. Now I've made it my business to show you how to do the same thing.
I am a badass mother...
When I started the venture into owning a business, I already had my two boys. As a mom, it was incredibly important to me that I own a business that truly gave me the freedom to be "mama" first above all else.
This required me to ensure that I charge appropriate fees, work with fewer people, and have more time.
That is exactly what I did and is the reason that my 3rd month as a business owner, I made $19k! That's pretty crazy considering I had an income goal of making only $2k per month.

Profit Growth Strategist to be exact. I am a numbers person, so a career in accounting felt like the most natural way to go. I was good at it, so I continued to do it, but something was missing. My calling, my desire to impact more people on a much deeper level than balancing budgets and books.
So here I am, working with entrepreneurs. I help people follow the dream that is pulling on their hearts, even when it's really freaking scary or when they don't know what to do next. This is the role I was meant for. This is the most fulfilling space I have ever been in my life.
