Short answer?
No.
Cold messaging is annoying. It is annoying to send cold messages and it's annoying to receive cold messages. Yet, I still see coaches pushing this method.
Consider this, are you someone who wants to receive tons of cold messages intending on selling you something without knowing the sender?
Probably not, am I right?
I like to use an analogy when talking about this with my students. Growing your business and finding new clients is kind of like dating. You wouldn't jump into someone's bed before meeting them, right? Usually we go on a date (or a few), have a conversation, and BUILD TRUST, before we are INVITED into someone's bed.
Approach growing your business similarly! Building a relationship with the the people in your audience is the best way to achieve this organic growth. Show up for your ideal clients, whether that's in person at networking events or online doing lives trainings. Get to know your audience. Consistently give them value that will build their trust in you.
THAT is when the magic will happen!
THAT is when you will be INVITED to sell your services to them because they will want it.
I sell to people that want my help. I don't waste time messaging 100's of people to get responses from weirdos and potentially tarnishing relationships that could have otherwise been great.
Stop the cold shit.
Date your audience. Treat them good. Give them the attention they deserve.
Just like you do your person.
